Using tools like gmass.co/inbox or mail-tester.com are great ways to take a deeper dive into your emails. 🔎 Let’s look at what these tools bring to the table.

Gmass can show you where your email lands in various Gmail accounts. This is helpful to see what “tab” Gmail is sorting you into, or if you are hitting spam filters. ❌

Using the emails that Gmass provides, send an email to those using Notion Mail. The results we got here are that the majority landed in the promotions tab (not spam!), but a few did get trapped. ❌

To get a better idea of what caused it, you can run Mail Tester and take a look at the detailed feedback that it provides. In this case, a DMARC policy was set but DKIM was not properly configured. 🧰

Mail Tester gives deeper technical feedback and gives your email a score out of 10. If you are having consistent deliverability issues, Mail Tester may give you that insight you need to figure out how to solve it. 💡
