Why You Need an SPF Record

Let’s break it down ▶️ an SPF record is a DNS record that specifies who is authorized to send emails from that domain. Receiving mail servers utilize SPF to ensure that messages coming from your domain have been authorized.

How to Configure an SPF Record

Visit your DNS provider (Route 53, Cloudflare, etc.) + create a new TXT Record. For the name, use @. The content (or value) will be “v=spf1 include:amazonses.com ~all”. MXToolbox can be helpful if you have an existing SPF Record, but you are having issues including this one.

Next time when you go to send an email in NotionMail - use the verified email that you just set up the SPF record for and enjoy the benefits of an authenticated domain! ⚡
